Midnight came across my door

Midnight train roll down the line
Think I've seen this town for the last time
Got to keep on moving though sometimes you don't want to leave

Black cat crossed, crossed my path
Now I know there ain't no, no turning back
Red red rose, ruby lips
She'll make you dance upon her fingertips
She'll make you cry for mercy though you know you don't want to leave

Shadows falling in the moonlight
Playing tricks on me all, all through the night
Big wind blowing, blow the house down
Feel my luck just might be coming 'round
Play the cards to tell my fortune but this time at least I know the deal
Love to stick around but half of winning's knowing when to leave
